The Dodgers quickly responded in the top of the second, as a pair of errors from Sean Murphy and Mauricio Dubón allowed Ohtani to round the bases and tie the score at 1-1.

Both teams were scoreless over the next four innings before Los Angeles took its first lead in the top of the seventh.

With the bases loaded and two outs, Andy Pages hit a single to give the Dodgers a 3-1 advantage.

Max Muncy eventually provided Los Angeles with some insurance in the top of the ninth inning, launching a solo home run to right field.

The Braves went down in order in the bottom of the frame, sealing the victory for the Dodgers.
