Aaron Rodgers Addresses Viral NSFW Mike McCarthy Exchange After Viral Steelers-Browns Video

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy had heated exchanges during the Steelers' 27-24 road loss to the Cleveland Browns last Thursday.

In one instance, Rodgers got animated while waiting for a play call to arrive from the sidelines.

On Wednesday, Sports Director for Audacy Pittsburgh Jeff Hatthorn asked Rodgers if he'd like the play calls to arrive quicker. He provided this response.

As Rodgers noted, he and McCarthy have enjoyed great success together. Rodgers was the Green Bay Packers' starting quarterback for the final 10-plus seasons (2008-2018) of McCarthy's head coaching tenure. The Packers made the playoffs in eight straight seasons (2009-2016) and won five NFC North titles as well as Super Bowl XLV.

Obviously, the painted picture Thursday showcased a QB and head coach who didn't seem thrilled with one another in the heat of the moment. On the surface, the two may have moved on.

It's literally been an up-and-down season for Pittsburgh thus far, with the 2-2 Steelers alternating wins and losses through four weeks.

The Steelers hope the pattern continues (for at least one week) on Sunday, when they host the 2-2 Indianapolis Colts.
