New WWE Rumors on Potential WrestleMania 45 Location for 2029 Event

WWE's WrestleMania may be coming back to New Orleans in the not-too-distant future.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported Wednesday that WWE and the city of New Orleans currently have a hold on the Caesars Superdome for the spring of 2029, which is when WrestleMania 45 would be scheduled to take place.

That news comes just days before WWE is set to stage one of its other biggest premium live events, Money in the Bank, at New Orleans' Smoothie King Center on Saturday.

WrestleMania 42, which was held earlier this year at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, was originally announced for New Orleans back in February 2025.

However, WWE announced a few months later that New Orleans would no longer be the host city for WrestleMania 42.

The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation released a statement on the matter, saying, "The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and New Orleans & Company are working closely with our friends at TKO to expand our long-standing partnership, which will include UFC 318 on July 19, 2025, Money in the Bank in 2026, and WrestleMania(โ€”)which will move from the currently scheduled 2026 timeframe to a future year."

Hosting WrestleMania 45 would satisfy the latter part of that statement, and mark the third WrestleMania to emanate from New Orleans.

The first two instances were WrestleMania 30 in 2014 and WrestleMania 34 in 2018, and both of those events were held at the New Orleans Saints' Superdome as well.

Next year's WrestleMania 43, which is scheduled for April 2027, will take place in Saudi Arabia, making it the first-ever WrestleMania outside the United States or Canada.

WWE has yet to indicate where WrestleMania 44 in 2028 may be held.
