The Philadelphia Eagles have traded center Cam Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick, the team announced on Wednesday.

Here's a look at the Eagles' updated 2027 and 2028 draft picks, via Spotrac.

The Eagles' third-round pick was traded to Minnesota Vikings in deal for edge rusher Jonathan Greenard.

Their sixth-round pick was traded to Jets alongside wide receiver John Metchie III for a 2027 seventh-round pick and cornerback Michael Carter II.

Their seventh-round pick was traded to Vikings for quarterback Sam Howell.

2028

  • Round 1 (from Patriots in A.J. Brown trade)
  • Round 1
  • Round 2
  • Round 2 (from Ravens in Cam Jurgens trade)
  • Round 3
  • Round 4
  • Round 5
  • Round 6
  • Round 7

Before the trade, the Eagles were listed as having $10.7 million in 2026 cap space, per Over the Cap. Jurgens signed a four-year, $68 million extension in April 2025, and that contract runs through 2029.

Here's a look at Jurgens' cap numbers from 2026-2029 (via Over the Cap).

  • 2026: $5.5 million
  • 2027: $8.8 million
  • 2028: $11.8 million
  • 2029: $16.1 million

Per Michael Ginnitti, the co-Founder/editor of Spotrac, the Eagles will forfeit some 2027 cap space following the move. They will also take some dead cap hits.

Prior to the Jurgens deal, Philadelphia was listed with a projected cap space of $42.85 million in 2027 and $79.6 million in 2028, per Over the Cap.

Philadelphia is listed as having $28.7 million in dead cap in 2027 ($27.1 million due to the Brown trade), per Over the Cap.

However, that does not yet include dead cap that will incur following the retirement of offensive tackle Lane Johnson. Ginnitti provided more information.

The Eagles are set up to reload in the 2028 draft given their treasure trove of picks, including four in the top 64 guaranteed.

Zach Berman of The Athletic gave more insight on that front.

That will certainly help down the road. In the meantime, the 2-2 Eagles are fighting to get out of an early rut thanks to a two-game losing streak. They'll hope to move over .500 on Sunday when they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
