Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

One of six men will climb the ladder and secure the Money in the Bank contract on Saturday, giving them a world title shot at a time and place of their choosing.

The field for Saturday's contest is stacked with talent and features plenty of variance in terms of stars on the rise and those who have already been to the mountaintop.

Bron Breakker, Penta, Trick Williams and Je'Von Evans are all searching for a career-defining win that would bring them to within one step of their first WWE or World Heavyweight Championship.

CM Punk and Kevin Owens already know what it's like to be "the guy," but it has been nearly a decade since KO has been in that position, and Punk is looking for a quick route back to the WWE title after shenanigans cost him against Sami Zayn recently.

Penta and Breakker feel like the top candidates to win because they have both come agonizingly close to becoming world champ before, and need one last nudge to put them over the top.

However, Owens can't be counted out either since it has been so long since his first and only world title reign, and because the idea of him tormenting Zayn with the Money in the Bank contract could hypothetically create some highly entertaining programming on SmackDown.

Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Aside from Tiffany Stratton, every combatant in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match will be vying for a chance to win the WWE women's or women's world title for the first time.

The match features a ton of young talent that has enjoyed success early in their careers, as Sol Ruca, Roxanne Perez, Jacy Jayne and Lola Vice all held major titles in NXT, while Lash Legend is a former WWE women's tag team champion.

Additionally, Jayne is the reigning women's United States champion and Ruca previously held the Women's Intercontinental Championship, which speaks to the idea that they are ready for the next step.

Stratton has the clear experience edge over the rest of the field as a one-time Money in the Bank ladder match winner and WWE women's champion.

It is fair to say that there is no favorite who stands out above the rest, as any of the six Superstars in women's Money in the Bank can make a case for being a deserving and logical winner.

That adds a great deal of intrigue to the bout, as does the fact that so many young, hungry competitors will want to prove their worth on a big stage like MITB.

Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight

In the likely main event of Money in the Bank, LA Knight will get another chance to topple Roman Reigns and become a world champion for the first time in WWE.

Knight previously challenged Reigns for the WWE Championship in a singles match at Crown Jewel 2023 and in a Fatal 4-Way at Royal Rumble 2024, but he fell short both times due in large part to outside interference.

However, during Reigns' current title run, which started back at WrestleMania 42, he has gotten the job done on his own, beating challengers without help from The Bloodline.

If that holds up, then Reigns vs. Knight at Money in the Bank will mark the first fair, straight-up match between them with a world title hanging in the balance.

The fans are still firmly behind Knight and would undoubtedly love to see him accomplish his ultimate goal, but it is fair to wonder if WWE would really take the title off Reigns before WrestleMania 43.

Of course, the looming threat of 946 exists, and if they get involved, perhaps it could tip the scales in Knight's favor.
