How Potential Valkyries' WNBA Finals Run Could Impact Doja Cat Concert, Playoff Schedule

The Golden State Valkyries' 2026 playoff run could affect the upcoming concert schedule at Chase Center.

According to Colin Salao of Front Office Sports, singer and rapper Doja Cat is set to perform at the arena on Oct. 19, the same day as Game 2 of the 2026 WNBA Finals. If Golden State advances to the Finals and hosts Game 2, the concert will be moved to a contingency date.

The Valkyries are currently in the midst of a semifinal clash with the Las Vegas Aces, holding a 1-0 series lead after securing a 71-60 win in Game 1 on Sunday.

Since Golden State is the highest-seeded team still alive in the playoffs, it'll host Game 1 and Game 2 of the Finals if it can eliminate the Aces.

The Valkyries previously defeated the Dallas Wings in the first round of the playoffs after finishing the regular season with a 32-12 record. Golden State has been difficult to slow down in the postseason, ranking No. 1 among all teams with a 116.2 offensive rating (via WNBA.com).

For now, the Valkyries will look to take a 2-0 lead over Las Vegas in Game 2 on Wednesday. Tip-off is at 9:30 p.m. ET.
