After suffering a serious shoulder injury at SummerSlam in August, Brie Bella still faces a long road to recovery.

During Monday's episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Bella revealed that she's been completely limited by her broken scapula, so her timeline to return to the ring is unknown.

"You guys, I have not been able to do cardio. I'm a cardio queen, and so I haven't even been able to run since this injury. So I still think my days to be in-ring are still far, unfortunately," Bella said (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News). "I am not the type of girl anymore who's gonna rush things. I want all of it out before I make that comeback."

Bella said that she recently underwent a CT scan on her injured shoulder, but she's still awaiting the results.

"I did get nervous… I was like, 'It's because my bones fused?' But he's like, 'No, I don't know.' So he wouldn't tell me anything. But I'm feeling strong, I'm feeling good. I'm still not cleared to do any, you know, the exercises I would like to do," she said. "There are times where I will go to shut a window and I get really bad spasms or sharp pains. I'm still really cautious about picking up things that aren't heavier than five pounds… I'm not cleared to pick up anything heavier than five pounds."

Bella said her current recovery mainly consists of physical therapy with the goal of strengthening the muscles around the scapula. However, even if she gets positive results from her CT scan, she's still a long way from returning to the ring.

"Even if my bones have fused, it doesn't mean I get to go back yet," she said. "It's a very long process when it comes to shoulder/scapula stuff. It just means I get to take the next step to rehabbing."
