New Brisbane 2032 Olympics Logo Revealed, Check Out Photos of Every Emblem Since Summer 2004

Officials for the 2032 Summer Olympics in Brisbane, Australia, released the logo for the event and the accompanying Paralympic Games.

"This vibrant expression of these Games is one that will travel the world, telling the story of Brisbane 2032," said Mikaela Cojuangco Jaworski, the Brisbane 2032 coordination commission chair. "It is also a symbol of excitement and ambition that a generation of young athletes and fans will now grow up with over the next six years."

The logo is meant to evoke the cockatoo, a native bird to Queensland.

This will be the third time Australia hosts the Summer Games. Melbourne was the site for the 1956 Olympics and then Sydney had the honor in 2000.
