Updated 2027 NFL Draft Order After Week 4 Results, Who Could Texans & Dolphins Take?
Five teams left Week 4 with an 0-4 record, putting them squarely in the conversation for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2027 NFL draft.
The Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers currently fill out the top five positions in the draft order.
There's still plenty of time for any of those teams to turn things around, but there's also a realistic chance they are fighting for the best talent in college football come April.
Four of those five teams already have clear plans for their future at quarterback. Miami has the biggest question mark of the quintet because its at the start of a total rebuild.

Darian Mensah
2 of 3
The Dolphins have likely had a chance to see Darian Mensah up close at least once early in the college football season.
The Miami Hurricanes quarterback is one of the front-runners for the Heisman Trophy and is in discussion for the No. 1 overall pick.
Mensah threw for 227 yards and a touchdown in Miami's win over the Clemson Tigers on Saturday.
The former Duke and Tulane quarterback has thrown for 1,438 yards and 15 touchdowns over five games. He's also run in two touchdowns.
There's a long way to go between now and April, but at least right now, Mensah is playing some of the best football among the draft-eligible quarterbacks.
The Dolphins could have their choice of the top signal-callers if the same teams remain in contention for the No. 1 overall pick.
Mensah could be intriguing to the Texans, if they move on from C.J. Stroud, or for the Titans if they believe Cam Ward can't develop more under offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.
Other teams may work their way into the quarterback draft conversation as well. The New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals are among the one-win teams that are potentially one result away from climbing into the top five.
Jeremiah Smith

Jeremiah Smith continued to make his case to be the No. 1 overall pick on Saturday.
Smith put up his second straight 200-yard performance and found the end zone twice in the Ohio State Buckeyes' win over the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Smith is 177 yards shy of a 1,000-yard season already. He might be able to achieve that feat in his next game at the current pace he's playing at.
The Ohio State wide out has to be near, or at, the top of the draft boards of any team that isn't prioritizing a quarterback in the 2027 draft.
Justin Herbert. C.J. Stroud and Baker Mayfield would love to work with a talent like Smith in addition to their current wide receiver corps.
Smith could be a complete game-changer in Tennessee, if the Titans opt to give Ward another year under center in 2027.
He'd be such a fascinating prospect for the Dolphins to select, but with so many quarterbacks at the top of the draft class, it'll be hard for Miami to pass on a signal-caller to land Smith, unless Malik Willis shows a lot of improvement.
