Darius Cooper, Dohnte Meyers & Top Fantasy Waiver-Wire WR Targets After Ja'Marr Chase Injury
Fantasy football enthusiasts and the Cincinnati Bengals were dealt a blow on Sunday, as superstar receiver Ja'Marr Chase was ruled out for the remainder of his team's matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a concussion.
If he's unable to suit up in Week 5, it may be time to scour the waiver wire for potential options at wide receiver. Let's review the players who will likely be hot names in the coming week.
Darius Cooper, Philadelphia Eagles

Darius Cooper's two touchdowns on Sunday—and his touchdown reception in Week 2—is going to have him on the radar of a lot of fantasy players this week. But there is a lot of important context you'll want to keep him mind.
First, injuries. The Birds were without both DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert on Sunday. While it's unclear when either will be back, both are much higher on the pecking order than Cooper in the passing game when healthy.
Wideouts Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon also are likely to be a more important part of the game plan than Cooper as well, which means you are basically hoping Cooper finds the end zone if you pick him up.
Obviously, without Smith or Goedert available Cooper's value is much higher. But proceed with caution here.
Dohnte Meyers, Cincinnati Bengals

With Chase potentially out of commission for another week and Andrei Iosivas on injured reserve, Cincy may need somebody else to step in the pass game behind Tee Higgins. Meyers is the most likely candidate.
He stepped up on Sunday, catching seven passes for 92 yards while serving as Joe Burrow's No. 2 option out wide, with Higgins and running back Chase Brown led the way.
You probably aren't thrilled about picking up a player you may not have heard of before today. But if you are in a pinch he's worth a shot—it's a safe bet the Bengals will remain a pass-heavy offense.
Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills

Is it finally Keon Coleman's time?
The Bills' wideout was fantastic on Sunday, catching six passes for 116 yards and a touchdown after being called into a more prominent role following DJ Moore's shoulder injury against the New England Patriots. Coleman's been sporadic this year (and during his career), but Sunday was an indication that he may be ready to take on a bigger role.
Moore's injury status obviously plays a role in how much upside Coleman will have in Week 5. But of all the players listed here, Coleman's talent is the most tantalizing (and having Josh Allen throwing him passes helps).
