Falcons' Michael Penix Jr., Wife Olivia Announce They're Expecting 1st Child in IG Photos

Michael Penix Jr. and his wife, Olivia, announced that they were expecting their first child together in a social media post on Saturday.

Penix, 26, returned to starting duties on Thursday after missing the first two games of the season while recovering from last season's torn ACL and instantly provided the Atlanta offense a spark, throwing for 256 yards, a touchdown and interception in a 35-14 win over the Green Bay Packers.

"That's a tough thing to do when he's putting himself through the extra workouts in the weight room, the extra treatments in the training room. All those times that he's out on the field running and no one was watching. It's just him and the trainers and the medical staff. So proud of all of that. I got to witness it, and this, tonight, is something you can build on."
