Preview

The Dream punched their ticket to the semifinals by sweeping the Washington Mystics, while the Liberty pulled off an upset victory over the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx.

New York is once again led by Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu, taking down Minnesota due to Stewart's prowess around the rim while also firing away from behind the arc.

The Liberty have attempted 28.5 three-pointers per game in the postseason, ranking No. 2 among all teams. They've also connected on 40.4 percent of their triples in the playoffs.

New York will look to keep pace with Atlanta's explosive guard duo of Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard, who both earned their fourth All-Star nods this season.

It'll be intriguing to see how Stewart fares against a Dream frontcourt spearheaded by Angel Reese, as she was named the WNBA Defensive Player of the Year on Thursday. Atlanta's 92.1 defensive rating in the playoffs represents the No. 1 mark in the league (via WNBA.com).

As for the Valkyries, they're looking to go on a deep playoff run and contend for a championship against an experienced Aces squad that is searching for their fourth title in five years.

Las Vegas has been efficient offensively throughout the postseason, as its 63.0 true shooting percentage in the playoffs is the highest among all teams.

Golden State will attempt to slow down Aces star A'ja Wilson, as the four-time MVP averaged 32.0 points and 11.7 rebounds per game on 64.6/66.7/85.7 shooting splits in the first round against Indiana.

Instead of relying on just one player to match Wilson's production, the Valkyries will continue to use a collective offensive approach moving forward.

Golden State had four different players finish with double-digit scoring averages in the first round against Dallas, headlined by Gabby Williams and her 25.0 points per game.
