Falcons' Bijan Robinson Drops Kobe Bryant Quote While Reflecting on Huge Primetime Performances
The Atlanta Falcons are a primetime staple in the early going of the 2026 campaign, which is bad news for opposing defenses that have to face Bijan Robinson.
"I love what Kobe said," Robinson said of playing in primetime, per Josh Kendall of The Athletic. "They pay to watch you, so you have to do your job."
As Kendall noted, the star running back has averaged 185.8 yards from scrimmage in his last six primetime contests dating back to the 2025 campaign.

His latest unbelievable performance under the national spotlight came on Thursday Night Football in Week 3 when he torched the Green Bay Packers in a 35-14 victory. Robinson ended up with 194 rushing yards, 19 receiving yards and two touchdowns as a blur on the field who left Packers defenders grasping at air a number of times.
It may have been a sign of things to come as well considering Atlanta's next two games against the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens are also primetime contests.
The Falcons are just 1-2 on the season, but the win over Green Bay was the first time starting quarterback Michael Penix was under center after Cooper Rush and Jack Strand were under center before he was cleared.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers were able to stack the box to account for Robinson without having to worry about being beaten over the top, but Penix showed an immediate connection with Drake London.
London finished with nine catches for 194 yards against the Packers, highlighting how opposing defenses have to pick their poison with the wide receiver and Robinson in the same offense.
If Robinson's comments are any indication, it could be more of the same in primetime against the Saints.
