Puka Nacua Injury Update, Latest News on Rams WR's Status vs. Eagles Amid Groin Issue

Good news, Los Angeles Rams' fans.

Head coach Sean McVay told reporters Wednesday that he expects superstar wideout Puka Nacua to play against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday as he recovers from a groin strain.

Nacua, 25, caught five passes for 74 yards in L.A.'s Week 1 loss against the San Francisco 49ers. But he injured his hip during practice on Sept. 17 and has been unavailable since.

While Davante Adams went full beast mode without him, catching 15 passes for 332 yards and two touchdowns in the past two weeks, the Rams were just 1-1 in those games and are now 1-2 on the season.

Los Angeles will obviously be much more dynamic with Nacua in action. He had an epic 2025 season, catching 129 passes for 1,715 yards and 10 scores while rushing for 105 yards and another touchdown.

Injuries have been a major storyline for the Rams thus far, however.

Alongside Nacua's absence, Myles Garrett is currently on injured reserve, cornerback Jaylen Watson will likely miss Sunday's game after dislocating his shoulder against the Denver Broncos and the status of players like Kam Kinchens, Nate Landman, Josh Wallace, Colby Parkinson, Terrence Ferguson and Aaron Donald is very much up in the air (though McVay said Donald's back "is a little sore" and the team was approaching the situation day by day).

But getting back Nacua would be a huge boost, especially against an Eagles team that has beaten McVay's Rams in six of those seven meetings and four times in a row.
