Tyreek Hill Potentially Hints at NFL Landing Spot in Cryptic Social Media Post Amid Injury Rehab

Free-agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill may have dropped a hint Wednesday regarding his next NFL destination.

In a post on X, Hill wrote, "I think I'm ready for some cold weather."

That post came just two days after Hill posted that it was "almost time to get off the couch and get to work."

The 32-year-old wideout suffered a torn ACL in late September last season while playing for the Miami Dolphins, and he went unsigned throughout the offseason as he rehabbed the injury.

Hill posted a workout video in July, and he said at the time that he had "no power" in his left leg:

However, Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, provided a much more positive update earlier this month.

During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show (h/t Kyle Dvorchak of NBC Sports), Rosenhaus noted that Hill was making progress and had multiple teams inquiring about his availability.

Rosenhaus also said that doctors recommended Hill should delay his on-field return until "perhaps some time in October."

Considered one of the fastest and most electric wide receivers of his era, Hill has put up huge numbers and racked up numerous accolades over the course of his 10-year NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs and Dolphins.

An eight-time Pro Bowler, five-time First Team All-Pro and one-time Super Bowl champion, Hill has registered 819 receptions for 11,363 yards and 83 touchdowns in 145 career regular-season games.

While injuries limited him to four games last season, and he was banged up throughout the 2024 campaign as well, Hill isn't too far removed from a career year.

In 2024, Hill set career highs across the board with 119 catches for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns, earning him a second-place finish in the Offensive Player of the Year Award voting.

It is unclear if Hill can return to that level, but he has a chance to be a huge addition for whichever team signs him.

A return to Kansas City would potentially make sense for both parties, but there are plenty of other contending, receiver-needy teams who could possibly benefit from him as well, including the Baltimore Ravens, Las Vegas Raiders and Green Bay Packers, to name a few.
