Travis Kelce Reacts to Taylor Swift's New Song 'Cleveland!' on 'The Life of a Showgirl: Encore'

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce feels his wife, Taylor Swift, gave the Cleveland Guardians a boost ahead of their upcoming postseason run with the release of her new song "Cleveland!"

"We've got October baseball and the f--king Guards got a bye... Cleveland is rocking right now. Shout out to Tay Tay for making that song," Kelce said at the start of Wednesday's episode of his New Heights podcast with Jason Kelce. "I love it."

Swift released "Cleveland!" last Friday as part of four new songs included in the release of a new version of her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl.

She referenced Kelce's hometown in the song with the lyric, "He already took me to Cleveland and he showed me the Heights."

Swift released her latest songs the day before the Guardians clinched the AL Central title and a first-round bye.

The Guardians will now wait in the ALDS to face either the Chicago White Sox or the Houston Astros. The White Sox started the Wild Card round with a 6-3 win Tuesday and could secure a chance to play the Guardians with another victory Wednesday evening in Houston.

Whichever club emerges from that Wild Card matchup will be slated for a trip to Cleveland when the ALDS begins Saturday.
