Raiders Beat Saints, Box Score Stats, Highlights for Cousins, Shough, Bowers, Top Players
The Las Vegas Raiders are 3-0 for the first time since the 2021 NFL season.
Kirk Cousins led the Las Vegas Raiders to a perfect start with a 35-27 victory over Tyler Shough and the New Orleans Saints, throwing three touchdown passes in the win.
Despite entering 1-1 against the 2-0 Raiders, the Saints were 3.5-point favorites at home Sunday, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Raiders silenced the doubters with a fourth-quarter comeback, delivering a dominant 13-0 shutout, delivering on both sides of the ball.

Shough found Juwan Johnson for a short touchdown pass, the lone end zone score of the first quarter, giving New Orleans a 6-3 lead after a blocked extra point.
Las Vegas' offense was rolling in the second, scoring 13 points on two field goals and a Michael Mayer reception while scoring on all three possessions. New Orleans' Shough found Noah Fant for a touchdown to cut the deficit to 16-13 at halftime.
New Orleans responded out of the break with a big third quarter, with Johnson scoring his second touchdown while the defense came up with a big fumble recovery to set up a 47-second drive that ended with Fant finding the end zone for his second score.
Raiders' Mike Washington Jr. stopped the bleeding with a monster 36-yard rushing touchdown to keep the Raiders within five points heading into the final quarter.
The fourth quarter was disastrous for the Saints, who committed four turnovers. The Raiders capitalized with two touchdowns, as Cody White hauled in a pass from Cousins to give Las Vegas the lead before tight end Brock Bowers found the end zone.
Sealing the win, the Raiders came up with a clutch fourth-down sack and forced fumble on Shough, followed by another fumble recovery, to maintain their perfect record.
Las Vegas will host the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday, while New Orleans will host the Atlanta Falcons the following day for a Monday night matchup.
