Deshaun Watson Reacts to Browns Fans' Cheers in Win vs. Bryce Young, Panthers After Prior Comments

All it took was a pair of victories for Cleveland Browns veteran quarterback Deshaun Watson to win over his home fans.

After leading the Browns to a 21-18 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday to improve to 2-1, Watson praised the fans at Huntington Bank Field for helping to fuel the victory.

"The energy, the fans, it was amazing," Watson told reporters. "They kept believing in us, kept the energy up. ... We didn't give up, we fed off that energy."

Of course, Watson's comments are a stark contrast to his disparaging reaction to hearing boos from Cleveland fans during the preseason.

Watson and the Browns incurred some boos after falling behind 18-13 in the fourth quarter, but he said he didn't notice as he spearheaded the comeback victory.

"I didn't hear any of that, but at the same time, I'm just trying to give them something to cheer about and get that W, so that was all that mattered," Watson told reporters.

Watson and the Browns will look to make it three straight wins when they meet the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1) on Thursday Night Football in Week 4.
