Henry Cejudo vs. 'Euphoria' Actor Javon Walton Results, Highlights from Misfits Boxing Card

Former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo defeated Javon Walton by split decision in their showdown on Saturday's Misfits Boxing card.

The judges' scorecards had Cejudo as the winner, 39-37, 39-37, 37-39.

Walton was participating in his fifth professional boxing match and is also an actor, previously appearing on shows such as Euphoria and Under The Bridge.

He was energetic throughout the first two rounds of Saturday's fight, but Cejudo responded with increased pressure to begin the third round and ended their clash on a high note to emerge victorious.

Cejudo's performance was particularly impressive considering he was making his professional boxing debut, overcoming Walton's technical ability by hitting him with several overhand and straight right hands.

Cejudo said in his post-fight interview that he felt the first round didn't go his way, but was still able to make the appropriate adjustments to secure the win (h/t Matthew Wells of MMA Junkie).

While Walton suffered his first professional loss, his overall showing was still admirable after taking the fight on short notice.

He stepped in as Cejudo's opponent on Sept. 15, replacing influencer Nurideen Shabazz after he was forced to withdraw due to injury.

After Cejudo compiled a 16-6-0 record during his professional MMA career, he's now 1-0-0 as a boxer.
