Updated Weather Forecasts for Giants, Bills' NFL Games amid Flooding, Strong Winds from Nor'easter

Some Week 3 NFL games could potentially be impacted Sunday by the devastating Nor'easter storm that is sweeping through the East Coast of the United States.

The Weather Channel has extensively covered the Nor'easter and the devastation it has caused thus far, including flooding and high-wind warnings.

Per The Weather Channel, 80,000 people are already without power in the northeast because of the wind, and nearly 250 flights have been canceled into and out of Boston's Logan Airport.

Two NFL games being played outdoors in the northeast on Sunday are the New York Giants against the Tennessee Titans at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and the Buffalo Bills against the Los Angeles Chargers at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.

The game far more likely to be impacted by the weather is the Giants vs. Titans, per The Weather Channel's Sunday forecast for East Rutherford.

There is a 90 percent chance of rain during the day with winds ranging from 20 mph to 30 mph. While the chance of rain early in the game will hover around 50 percent, it will grow to 71 percent by 3 p.m. ET and 83 percent by 4 p.m. ET, which could make for tough conditions during the second half.

As for the Bills vs. Chargers, it doesn't appear as though weather will play much of a role.

The Weather Channel's Sunday forecast for Orchard Park lists almost no chance of rain at 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. ET, followed by a 13 percent chance at 3 p.m. ET and a 24 percent chance at 4 p.m. ET.

Winds up to 13 mph are forecasted for the game-time hours, which should present much of an issue for strong-armed quarterbacks Josh Allen of the Bills and Justin Herbert of the Chargers.
