Kyle Juszczyk Fined by NFL for Pretending to Chug a Beer During 49ers' Win vs. Dolphins

San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk apparently took things a little too far in Sunday's win over the Miami Dolphins.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL fined Juszczyk $14,926 for engaging in an "offensive demonstration" when he celebrated during the 35-13 victory. Juszczyk has already filed an appeal.

"Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste," the league said.

Schefter pointed out that Juszczyk is nicknamed "Juice" and has been celebrating touchdowns and first downs the exact same way throughout his entire career, but this marks the first time he's been fined. He texted Schefter, "And I don't even drink beer!"

Former NFL star J.J. Watt also came to Juszczyk's defense, tweeting that it should be obvious that he was paying homage to his nickname:

Juszczyk recorded two catches for 27 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins. His celebration came after he found the end zone in the third quarter. He also helped pave the way for a rushing attack that totaled 95 yards and three touchdowns as the 49ers improved to 2-0.

One of the few true fullbacks in the league, Juszczyk has been selected to the Pro Bowl in 10 straight years. Still, he's making just $3.7 million this year, so he will rightfully appeal the fine and try to keep his money in his pockets.

The 49ers will try to remain undefeated when they face the Arizona Cardinals (1-1) in an NFC West matchup on Sunday.
