Marvin Harrison Jr. Reacts to Criticism Amid Struggles to Start 2026 NFL Season with Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. discussed his reaction to criticism of his slow start to the 2026 season on Wednesday.

"It's a social media era, you see everything," Harrison told reporters. "I'm not going to sit here and say I don't see nothing. You get told to block out the noise and not pay attention to it. That's part of it, you can still see something and still block it out. I see everything, and everybody's entitled to their own opinions. You get platforms to speak your mind and that's okay for me. I'm just gonna continue to worry about my team and my process and helping the team win best I can."

The 24-year-old also confirmed that he isn't going to let outside noise impact his approach.

"Stick to my process," Harrison said. "Don't change anything I've been doing. Continue to work hard day in and day out. That's the best you can do in this situation."

Expectations were high for Harrison after he was selected with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

He appeared in 17 games as a rookie, hauling in 62 receptions for 885 yards and eight touchdowns.

While Harrison only racked up 608 receiving yards and four touchdowns during his second season in 2025, it's worth noting that he missed five games due to injuries.

He's struggled to make an impact to open his 2026 campaign, though.

In two appearances this year, Harrison has caught just one of his four targets for 33 yards. He's also recorded one drop.

Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett owns an 86.2 passer rating in 2026, which drops to 61.5 when targeting Harrison (via Pro Football Focus).

Arizona owns a 1-1 record, but the team has scored just 33 points in two contests.

As Harrison looks to get back on track, he isn't focused on criticism surrounding his beginning of the year.
