Travis Kelce Reacts to Taylor Swift Memes After Viral Video of Celebration Showing Off Wedding Ring

Even though the Kansas City Chiefs are off to a 2-0 start after a dramatic overtime win in Week 2 over the Indianapolis Colts, clearly the biggest story coming out of the game was Taylor Swift's reaction to Travis Kelce's touchdown catch.

On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast (starts at 17:35 mark), Travis and Jason Kelce reacted to the viral memes that stemmed from Swift pointing at her wedding ring in celebration of Travis' first-quarter score.

"The internet's having a good old time with this s--t," Travis said as he was reading some of the memes. "... Listen, man, proud wife, baby. I gotta make my girl proud."

Swift created the instant viral moment when Kelce caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes to put the Chiefs up 10-7.

Kelce and Swift got married on July 3 at a ceremony held inside Madison Square Garden. The singer-songwriter has been at each of the Chiefs' first two games this season to cheer on her new husband.

Swift has also been keeping busy with her day job, announcing on Tuesday she will be releasing a new single later this week. It is his first new material since the couple wed.

Kelce, now in his 14th season, is off to a strong start through two games. He has 12 receptions for 172 yards and one touchdown. Sunday's game marked his first 100-yard performance in the regular season since Week 9 of the 2024 season.
