Latest NFL Odds and Picks Factoring in New Weather Forecasts for Week 3 Schedule

The NFL has been a rollercoaster ride through the first two weeks of the season. We've seen massive upsets, stunning finishes, and far more injured stars than anyone would like to see this early in the year.

Things are unlikely to be any more predictable in Week 3. We have some very intriguing matchups, with a few complicated by injuries and on-field conditions.

The Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys are set to face off at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, despite some concerns about some early concerns about the field's surface.

"It's a field that's been actively used and that's visible," NFL field director Nick Pappas told The Athletic.

Right now, it doesn't appear that weather will be a major factor in Week 3. The only game calling for significant rain and/or moderate wind is Sunday's matchup between the Tennessee Titans and New York Giants.

The health of players could have a far bigger impact on that game, which will be part of the Week 3 theme.

New York lost starting quarterback Jaxson Dart to a knee injury on Monday night, which means we should see backup Jameis Winston against the Titans. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, Dart could be out for an extended period, possibly the rest of the season.

The Titans-Giants game is far from the only one likely to be impacted by injury situations. In Thursday's opener, for example, the Atlanta Falcons are expected to start quarterback Michael Penix Jr. in his first game back from a torn ACL.

The Chicago Bears are likely to be without quarterback Caleb Williams when they host the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. Williams suffered a hamstring injury on Sunday, and the Bears haven't given a definitive timeline for a return.

We're going to say week-to-week," head coach Ben Johnson said, per ESPN's Courtney Cronin. "He's going to attack this with everything that he knows."

The Eagles, though, may not have star running back Saquon Barkley at 100 percent after he suffered a stinger in Week 2.

The Washington Commanders won't have quarterback Jayden Daniels, who suffered a dislocated elbow on Sunday. They'll start Marcus Mariota against the Seattle Seahawks and their vaunted defense.

The 2-0 Las Vegas Raiders, meanwhile, are expected to have star tight end Brock Bowers back when they visit the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. According to Ravens reporter Ryan Mink, Zay Flowers has a "good shot" to play against the Cowboys in Rio De Janeiro.

Houston Texans receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is unlikely to return to face the Indianapolis Colts, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC-2 Houston.
