Angel Reese, Sabrina Ionescu's Final Box Score Stats, Highlights as Dream Beat Liberty

As the WNBA playoffs near and teams continue to fight for seeding, the Atlanta Dream picked up a crucial 95-84 win over the New York Liberty on Monday.

In their penultimate regular-season game, the Dream used strong performances from Jordin Canada and a double-double from Angel Reese to get past Sabrina Ionescu, Breanna Stewart and the Liberty.

As expected, it was a tight battle through, with the Dream holding just a three-point lead heading into halftime. Atlanta created some separation in the third quarter, though, thanks to a big run led by Rhyne Howard, Allisha Gray and DeWanna Bonner.

The Dream led by 11 heading into the final period and was able to keep things just out of reach down the stretch.

While both Atlanta and New York have already secured a spot in the playoffs, the game on Monday still has plenty of implications. The Dream are now closing on the third-placed Las Vegas Aces and will have the chance to jump them in the standings before the regular season ends.

The Liberty, meanwhile, fell two spots to the No. 8 seed with the loss, but they still can improve their standing before the playoffs.

Atlanta and New York will meet again on Wednesday in what should be an exciting clash to end the season.
