Magic Johnson Provides Jayden Daniels Update After Calling Commanders Star

Washington Commanders co-owner Magic Johnson provided a positive update on Jayden Daniels after the quarterback suffered a gruesome injury in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Johnson posted on social media that he had spoken to Daniels and said that "he's in good spirits."

Daniels fell awkwardly on his left arm in the first half of Sunday's loss and was carted to the locker room. It was later reported that Daniels had suffered a dislocated left elbow, the same injury that cost him several weeks of the 2025 season.

While Daniels appears to be in good spirits now, the injury means he'll have to miss some time, making it much harder for the Commanders to get out of a 0-2 hole.
