James Harrison, Le'Veon Bell Rip Steelers in Trending Posts After Blowout Loss to Patriots

Several former Pittsburgh Steelers players are not happy with the state of the team.

After the Steelers' 20-3 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday, James Harrison and Le'Veon Bell called them out on social media.

Harrison called the team "cooked" and ripped the offensive line, while Bell called out wide receiver DK Metcalf, as well as the defense as a whole.

Steelers fans are likely on the same page as Harrison and Bell after what transpired on Sunday.

Pittsburgh's offense looked dreadful against the defending AFC champions, mustering just 278 yards of total offense. Aaron Rodgers threw for 187 yards and an interception, and he also had a fumble that resulted in a New England touchdown.

Metcalf did very little in the loss, hauling in four receptions for just 27 yards. The ground game couldn't get going either, with just 91 rushing yards from the group.

To be fair to Pittsburgh, its defense didn't look all that lost as it held Drake Maye to just 208 yards, picking up one interception. The Patriots' offense also had just 13 points, since one of New England's touchdowns came on defense.

The Steelers picked up a win in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons, but they looked far from a playoff contender in the loss on Sunday. Things also won't get much easier next week as they face the Cincinnati Bengals.
