Tiffany Stratton Wins 2026 WWE Money in the Bank Women's Ladder Match in New Orleans
Tiffany Stratton earned a guaranteed women's title opportunity by winning the women's Money in the Bank ladder match at the WWE Money in the Bank premium live event on Saturday.
Stratton managed to nab the Money in the Bank contract before Lash Legend, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne and Roxanne Perez, who made up a strong field in the bout.
After winning Saturday's ladder match, Stratton is now just one victory away from becoming WWE women's champion or women's world champion. She can cash in the contract for a championship match at a time and place of her choosing within the next year.
Early in the contest, Stratton came up a bit short on a Swanton Bomb from the top of the ladder. She didn't appear to get the airtime she wanted, and her upper body hit the floor hard while her legs connected with her opponents below.
WWE personnel checked on Stratton, who was able to continue and even rushed to the ring a few minutes later to stop Jayne from grabbing the briefcase.
There were plenty of brutal moments in this match.
Perez moonsaulted onto both Ruca and Legend on a ladder.
Ruca dished out punishment of her own, faceplanting Stratton onto a ladder.
Ruca later had a chance for the win, but the ladder went out from under her. She had no choice but to fall onto three of her foes below.
Ruca may not have won, but she certainly had her fair share of moments, frog splashing Legend onto a ladder outside the ring.
That set up a frenetic finale as all six wrestlers went for the briefcase.
Jayne was first up the ladder, but Vice stopped her and applied a chokehold. The two eventually fell backward and onto a ladder set up horizontally across the middle rope.
Perez and Stratton then fought for the briefcase. Perez hit Stratton with the Pop Rox and rushed up the ladder, but Ruca stopped her. Ruca flew from the midway point of the ladder and hit Perez with the Sol Snatcher below. Ruca had the upper hand, but Legend then appeared.
She powerbombed Ruca onto a horizontal ladder set up over two middle ropes in the corner and then reached for the briefcase.
Stratton then rushed back into the ring, though, and she and Legend went up both sides of the ladder. Stratton used the briefcase as a weapon to help knock Legend off the ladder before coming away with the win.
Essentially the entire women's division on Raw, SmackDown and even NXT and AAA wanted a chance to vie for the Money in the Bank contract, and they were given that opportunity through a series of Triple Threat qualifying matches.
Ruca defeated Lyra Valkyria and Maxxine Dupri, Vice took down Kelani Jordan and Raquel Rodriguez, Jayne beat Jade Cargill and Alexa Bliss, Perez prevailed over Iyo Sky and La Catalina, Legend vanquished Charlotte Flair and Giulia, and Stratton outdid Tatum Paxley and Candice LeRae.
The women's Money in the Bank ladder match represented a beacon of opportunity for a field of Superstars in search of their first-ever WWE Women's Championship or Women's World Championship win, aside from Stratton.
As important as winning the men's Money in the Bank ladder match is, it can be argued that holding the women's Money in the Bank contract is even more significant since it has historically meant a certain women's title reign.
The women's Money in the Bank ladder match debuted in 2017, and all nine women who won it before this year's event went on to become champion, although Asuka received the title directly rather than cashing in in 2020.
Stratton was the only wrestler in Saturday's match to have held either the WWE Women's Championship or the Women's World Championship.
She previously won the Money in the Bank ladder match two years ago, and with her latest victory, she is only the second two-time women's Money in the Bank ladder match winner ever, joining Carmella.
