Oklahoma's disappointing loss to Michigan on Saturday had ramifications that reached the NFL, as Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield was forced to endure an embarrassing moment.

Mayfield, who won the Heisman Trophy in his final year with the Sooners in 2017, entered Wednesday's press conference wearing a close-fitting Wolverines No. 18 tank top as Bucs head coach Todd Bowles sang the Michigan fight song. Bowles' son, Troy, wears the No. 18 jersey as a linebacker for the Wolverines and had nine tackles and a fumble recovery in Saturday's 17-10 upset win.

"Oklahoma vs. Michigan, Todd's son was on the winning side of it, and the Sooners were not," Mayfield told reporters as he explained the situation. "Therefore, I squeezed into this little tank top."

While Mayfield's Sooners will have to regroup this Saturday against New Mexico, he and the Bucs will also be trying to bounce back from a season-opening loss to the Cincinnati Bengals when they face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
