NASCAR Updates 'Swear Jar' Leaderboard in Photo, Reveals Prize Money Total After Enjoy Illinois 300

NASCAR has officially counted more than 450 expletives on driver radios since starting its "Swear Jar" promotion earlier this month.

The racing company shared an update on the swear count Tuesday after Kyle Larson's victory at the Enjoy Illinois 3000.

NASCAR announced Sept. 4 a promotion to put $5 in a prize pot every time a driver swears on their radio during the NASCAR Chase.

Fans can guess the top swear and total swear count for each race in order to enter a competition to win the full pot.

The pot had reached $2,340 by the end of the latest NASCAR Cup Series race in Madison.

The most frequent expletive tracked by NASCAR over that period was "f--k," which the organization reported was used 235 times on driver radios.

Entry to the swear jar promotion closes Nov. 1, a week before the Cup Playoffs wrap up Nov. 8 with the NASCAR Cup Series Championship in Miami.
