Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese's Final Box Score Stats from Gold-Medal Run at 2026 FIBA World Cup

The United States' gold-medal-winning roster was loaded with WNBA superstars during the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup.

Two of those stars in Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have been generating headlines since they entered the league in the 2024 WNBA draft. While neither of them was the go-to offensive option for the Americans during the tournament, they still put up solid numbers.

Here is a look at the per-game averages throughout the run to the gold medal for Clark and Reese:

Clark and Reese impressed for stretches, but it was Breanna Stewart who stood out as the best player for the Red, White and Blue. The forward led the team in scoring (12.8) and rebounds (7.3) per game and put the Americans on her back during Sunday's 97-79 victory over France in the gold-medal game.

France actually built a double-digit lead in the second quarter before Stewart took over on her way to a double-double of 22 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Whenever the United States needed a key basket, it consistently turned her way as a matchup nightmare.

That's not to say Clark and Reese weren't important as well.

Clark provided a spark off the bench with 12 points in the gold-medal game. She also led the team in assists per game and was a driver of the offense for the second unit.

As for Reese, she played excellent interior defense and led the team in blocks per game. She was also on the floor for stretches when the Americans seized control Sunday and provided some of that important defense in key possessions.

Clark and Reese were primary reasons the second unit thrived at times in the World Cup, and the latter discussed playing together.

"We've played against each other so many times. I'm sure we know each other's game like the back of each other's hand," Reese told reporters. "So just easily dishing it off to her. She dishes off to me. She knows my spots. I kinda got one to her today, maybe two. So it's fun. We just continue to build chemistry because we know we're gonna be USA teammates for a while."

They're now World Cup gold medalists together.
