Final
- USA vs. France, Sunday, Sept. 11, 2 p.m. ET
Team USA is looking to add a record-breaking 12th title to its resume and win its fifth straight championship as it takes on France, which aims to put a stop to the Americans' dominant run.
France enters the matchup looking for revenge, aiming to take down a USA team it fell to in the 2024 Paris Olympics final by just one point. That U.S. team looked different, though, with A'ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu at the center of the action two summers ago. That hasn't been the case this time around, with Wilson choosing to skip the tournament for health reasons, while Ionescu was left off the roster.
Led by Golden State Valkyries star Gaby Williams, France has made light work of its opposition this tournament, defeating each of its five foes by at least 22 points. USA has faced much closer margins of victory, including a three-point win over Italy and Sunday's 10-point win over Spain.
The final will tip off Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on TNT, truTV and HBO Max.
