Christian Gonzalez, Devon Witherspoon Link Up in Video Before Pats-Seahawks After Historic Contracts

The NFL's two highest-paid cornerbacks had a quick greeting on the field before Wednesday's season-opening matchup between the New England Patriots and defending champion Seattle Seahawks.

The former signed a four-year, $135 million extension this week. The latter inked a four-year, $132 million contract earlier in the offseason. Both deals reset the cornerback market, at least until Philly's Quinyon Mitchell is eligible for an extension next offseason.
