Cowboys' George Pickens Makes Bold Claim on CeeDee Lamb Pairing, Talks Ja'Marr Chase-Tee Higgins Duo

George Pickens believes that the Dallas Cowboys' wide receiver duo of himself and CeeDee Lamb is better than the Cincinnati Bengals' pairing of Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins heading into the 2026 season.

Pickens told reporters that "we definitely feel like we're the (NFL's) best (WR tandem)" on Wednesday.

He also gave praise to Chase and Higgins, but explained that "I definitely think me and CeeDee have made a lot more splash plays."

Pickens and Lamb thrived during their first season together in 2025, with the former recording 93 catches for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns. Lamb hauled in 75 receptions for 1,077 yards and three scores in 14 games.

Their 2,506 combined receiving yards ranked No. 2 among all duos in the NFL, only trailing the Detroit Lions' tandem of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams.

Meanwhile, Chase caught 125 passes for 1,412 yards and eight scores last season. Higgins reeled in 59 catches for 846 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Pickens and Lamb were the more explosive duo in 2025, averaging 14.9 yards per reception combined. Chase and Higgins averaged 12.3 yards per reception together.

Still, it's worth noting that the Bengals' duo played with three different starting quarterbacks as star passer Joe Burrow missed nine games due to a toe injury. Also of note, Chase and Higgins played major roles in helping the Bengals to Super Bowl LVI and the AFC title game the following season.

As the Cowboys and Bengals attempt to maintain their high-powered offenses in 2026, the league's top receiving duo could become clearer at the end of this season.
