Tyreek Hill's Injury Return Timeline Updated by Drew Rosenhaus Ahead of 2026 NFL Season

Free-agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill and his representatives are "playing it on the safe side" as he prepares for a possible return to the NFL this season.

His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Wednesday on The Pat McAfee Show that teams have shown interest in the eight-time Pro Bowler. However, doctors have advised Hill to delay a comeback until at least October.

The 32-year-old was the NFL's most electric pass-catcher at his peak. He led the league in receiving yards (1,799) and touchdown grabs (13) in 2023.

Nobody knows what the state of his game will be when he steps onto the field again, though.

Hill's production fell off dramatically in 2024, and his 2025 campaign ended after four games. He dislocated his left knee and tore his ACL in the same knee.

The veteran wideout has been documenting his recovery. In one video posted online this July, he said he had "no power" in his surgically repaired knee.

He appeared to be moving much better during a workout earlier this month.

Rosenhaus knows how to generate interest — or at least manage the optics — with his clients. It wouldn't be a big surprise if Hill effectively had standing offers with multiple teams, though. He possesses a proven track record, and even a version of Hill that's 80 percent of his old self would make a big impact on almost any offense.

And until he proves otherwise, general managers and coaches can talk themselves into the upside of Hill post-injury.
