The Gunners boss confirmed a "small" groin injury prior to Arsenal's match against Bayern Munich, per the London Evening Standard's James Olley.
Bellerin Emergence Key for the Gunners
The youngster has made a meteoric rise through Wenger's senior ranks to establish himself as the first option on the right side of the defence.
Bellerin played no part in the Gunners' opening-day defeat at home to West Ham United and was praised by the Guardian's Michael Cox as an extraordinary defensive talent for one so young.
That comes as high praise when one considers the Spaniard's pace and contribution in attack is such a large part of his appeal.
Last season proved to be a breakthrough year for Bellerin as he cut out a name for himself as a first-team staple and penned a new long-term contract in July.
France international Mathieu Debuchy is always expected to deputise in his stead, while Calum Chambers can also offer cover at right-back.
