Brock Rechsteiner, the son of WWE legend Scott Steiner, has been waived by the New Orleans Saints.

Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reported Rechsteiner's release on Sunday, which comes amid a suspension by the NFL.

The undrafted free agent wide receiver was suspended for the first six games of the season for violating the NFL-NFLPA performance-enhancing substances policy.

Rechsteiner spent three years at Jacksonville State, where he amassed 629 receiving yards and seven touchdowns from 2023 to last season. After going undrafted, he participated in the Saints' rookie minicamp in May and later signed a deal with the team.

Unfortunately for him, he didn't show enough in training camp to earn a spot on the 53-man roster, and he'll have to try to get his NFL career started with another team.

If he chooses to move on from football, he could follow in his family's footsteps and pursue a career in wrestling. Along with his father, his uncle is WWE hall of Famer Rick Steiner. His cousin, Bronson Rechsteiner, had a brief NFL career but now wrestles for WWE as Bron Breakker.
