TOUR Championship Leaderboard 2026 Review of Top Scorecards, Player Stats on Day 3

Viktor Hovland will enter Sunday at the Tour Championship with a one-shot advantage.

Hovland sits at 15-under going into the final round of the FedEx Cup Playoffs at East Lake Golf Club.

Hovland is in front of Ryan Gerard by one shot. There are countless other big names beneath the two leaders.

Scottie Scheffler and Ludvig Aberg are among a group of players tied for third place.

Rory McIlroy carded Saturday's lowest round, a seven-under 63, to put himself in a tie for seventh place.

Viktor Hovland Holds 54-Hole Lead

Viktor Hovland is one shot ahead of Ryan Gerard on the leaderboard going into Sunday.

Hovland shot a five-under 66 to get him up to 15-under for the tournament.

His putter came on strong on the back nine with four birdies over the final six holes.

Hovland finished off his round with a birdie on the 18th to keep his advantage over Gerard.

Hovland hasn't shot worse than a 66 all week, so it will be difficult for the rest of the field to surpass him if he plays at the same level on Sunday.

Scottie Scheffler Among Four Players Three Shots Back

Scottie Scheffler turned in a four-under 66 to go level with three other golfers at 12-under for the tournament.

The top-ranked player in the FedEx Cup standings rolled in four birdies and recorded a par on the other 14 holes.

It was a more consistent round for Scheffler compared to an up-and-down second round.

Scheffler is more than capable of making up the gap to Hovland, and he'll have the opportunity to put pressure on him from an earlier tee time.

Rory McIlroy Cards Round's Lowest Score

Rory McIlroy put himself in position to contend for the FedEx Cup with a seven-under 63 on Saturday.

McIlroy produced a 68 and 69 in his first two rounds. Those scores weren't good enough to put him near the top of the leaderboard.

The Northern Irishman still has work to do to catch Hovland, but he's more than capable of making an early run up the leaderboard to challenge on the back nine.

After all, McIlroy recorded four birdies in his first seven holes and had a streak of three straight birdies on the back nine on Saturday.
