Lil Wayne Disses Ben Johnson Shirtless Video, Bears, Lions, Vikings in 'Special Ops' Packers Song
Lil Wayne mocked the viral video of Chicago Bears coach Ben Johnson's shirtless postgame celebration in his new hype song for the Green Bay Packers.
The rapper called out Johnson alongside the rest of the NFC North in his new song "Special Ops."
Lil Wayne first referenced Johnson with the lyrics "We gon' ball till we fall and get back up / If the coach in Chicago want act up" (h/t AZ Lyrics).
He later added: "Tell your coach put his shirt back on / I got bear fur on my floor at home / We gon' make you eat all them words / And may they taste like provolone."
Johnson ripped off his shirt following a postgame speech in the Bears' locker room following a Black Friday win over the Philadelphia Eagles. He later said he went shirtless because the hot dog stand The Wieners Circle had promised to give out free hot dogs if he did so.
The Bears weren't the only division rivals to take a hit in Lil Wayne's new song.
The rapper said the Packers had the "NFC division crown on" before adding "Don't you know this enemy turf you on? / We don't do Honolulu blue / And don't come in here with no purple on."
Lil Wayne concluded, "The Bears still suck / The Vikings still drunk / The Lions tails tucked."
The Bears beat the Packers in the regular season on their way to winning the NFC North title last season, then defeated the Packers in the Wild Card round to eliminate their rivals from the playoffs.
Lil Wayne will hope his new song gives the Packers a boost as the team looks to earn redemption over the Bears and reclaim its division title starting with a season-opening Sept. 13 road game against the Minnesota Vikings.
