TOUR Championship Leaderboard 2026 Review of Top Scorecards, Player Stats on Day 1

Min Woo Lee holds the lead after 18 holes at the Tour Championship.

The Australian owns a two-stroke edge over Viktor Hovland, Collin Morikawa and Chris Gotterup at East Lake Golf Club.

Scottie Scheffler, who recorded the most FedEx Cup points this season, is lurking three shots back of Lee in a tie for fifth.

Whichever golfer finishes with the lowest score after four rounds comes away with the FedEx Cup. Twenty-nine golfers are left in the field after J.J. Spaun's Thursday withdrawal.

Min Woo Lee Leads By Two Shots

Min Woo Lee carded an eight-under 62 to take control of the tournament after 18 holes.

Lee split four birdies on the front nine and four more on the back nine. He did not drop a shot and rolled in 10 pars.

Six of Lee's eight birdies occurred on consecutive holes. He finished the round with a birdie on the par-five 18th hole.

The stellar round is a bit surprising because Lee finished in a tie for 55th and a tie for 47th in the first two rounds of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

If he keeps this up for three more rounds, he could outpace the field and end up as an unlikely winner.

Scottie Scheffler Sits In Tie For Fifth

Scottie Scheffler's birdies on the 17th and 18th holes moved him into a tie for fifth.

Scheffler rolled in birdies on the third, sixth and 12th holes prior to his consecutive birdies to end the round.

Outside of that, Scheffler produced 13 pars throughout his opening round.

Scheffler likely feels the most pressure in the field this week because he finished with such a wide advantage in the FedEx Cup standings.

FedEx Cup points don't mean anything now with the tournament being a straight-up stroke-play event.

Scheffler turned in a solid start to potentially finish off his season-long reign in the standings come Sunday.
