Micah Parsons Praises Divisional Rival as 'The Fastest Person I've Ever Seen on the Field'

Micah Parsons' Green Bay Packers are NFC North rivals with Jahmyr Gibbs' Detroit Lions, but that didn't stop the pass-rusher from giving the running back quite the compliment.

"I would say he's the fastest person I've ever seen on the field," Parsons said of Gibbs during an interview for the NFL Top 100:

Gibbs was named the ninth-best player in the league in this year's rankings, although he would apparently be No. 1 if Parsons was ranking based on speed alone.

There aren't many more electrifying players than Gibbs in the open field.

The Alabama product was a Pro Bowler in each of his first three seasons in the league and led the NFL with 16 rushing touchdowns and 20 total touchdowns in 2024. He was once again dominant last season and tallied 1,223 rushing yards, 616 receiving yards and 18 total touchdowns.

Detroit rewarded him for those first three seasons by giving him a new deal that made him the NFL's highest-paid running back:

Unfortunately for Parsons and the Packers, that means they are going to have to keep chasing him for years to come.
