Ravens' Ja'Kobi Lane Draws Odell Beckham Jr., DeAndre Hopkins Comparisons from Lamar Jackson
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson compared the hands of rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane, who has drawn rave reviews this offseason, to those of Odell Beckham Jr. and DeAndre Hopkins when ESPN's Jamison Hensley asked him what it's like throwing the ball to the ex-USC star.ย
"[Ja'Kobi Lane] is [an] easy target," Jackson said. "Big guyโlike 6'4", 6'5"โ[he can] catch the ball with the best of them. I told you, my comparison [is] like Odell Beckham Jr. and DeAndre Hopkins with the hands."
It's not hard to find Lane training camp highlights or people raving about his work.

It's certainly conceivable Lane slides into the WR3 spot behind Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman at this point.
The Ravens selected the 6'4", 205-pound Lane with the 80th overall pick in this year's NFL draft. He was a starter over his final two USC seasons (2024-2025), amassing a total of 92 catches for 1,270 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Now it appears Lane will get his fair share of opportunities right away in Baltimore as the Ravens look to get new head coach Jesse Minter's era off to a good start.
