Spikes Under the Lights TV Schedule, Live Stream, Prize Money, Teams & Preview for Volleyball Event

College volleyball will take center stage at AT&T Stadium on Thursday night as some of the top teams in the country take part in the first-ever Spikes Under the Lights event.

The winner of the exhibition tournament will walk away with a $1 million prize.

Ahead of the event, here's a look at the TV schedule and a preview of each team.

Spikes Under the Lights Schedule

• Match 1: No. 1 Nebraska vs. No. 11 SMU, 8 p.m. ET, TNT Sports
• Match 2: No. 10 Penn State vs. No. 17 Florida, 9 p.m. ET, TNT Sports
• Final: winner of Match 1 vs. winner of Match 2, 10 p.m. ET, TNT Sports

Nebraska

Even to those unfamiliar with college volleyball, Nebraska is a name that carries plenty of weight in the sport. The Cornhuskers have won five NCAA tournaments, with the most recent one coming in 2017.

This year's team figures to bring Nebraska back to the national stage after a few years away from its last championship game appearance. The veteran group of Andi Jackson, Harper Murray and Bergen Reilly will lead the way for the Cornhuskers.

Penn State

Much like Nebraska, Penn State has dominated the sport across several decades and is just two seasons removed from its last national title.

The Nittany Lions faced a second-round exit last year but have a promising duo of Kennedy Martin and setter Alexis Stuckey to guide them this year.

SMU

SMU doesn't have the history of a Nebraska or Penn State, but the Mustangs are perhaps on their way to forming a dynasty.

SMU finished 26-7 in Sam Erger's seconds eason in 2023 and went 25-8 last year, reaching the second round of the NCAA tournament for a second consecutive season.

The Mustangs bring back a handful of key veterans as well as an exciting new outside hitter in Suli Davis.

Florida

The Gators entered a new era under Ryan Theis last year after Mary Wise coached the team for more than 30 years. Naturally, there were some growing pains as Florida finished 16-12, but the Gators figure to be in for a much better 2026.

Theis lost a handful of star power from last season but still has a roster anchored by Alec Rothe and Jordan Byrd.
