Opening kick of the 2026 NFL season is barely two weeks away.

For fantasy football managers who haven't finalized their draft plans, what's the hold-up?

Well, maybe you're trying to extract as much information as possible before building that blueprint. So, you need to stay up-to-date on things like updated rankings and movement among fantasy stocks from two weeks of preseason action.

Stock up: Jonathon Brooks, RB, Carolina Panthers

Stalled to this point by two ACL tears, Brooks might finally be healthy enough to make his mark. The 2024 second-round pick seized his opportunity Friday night with Carolina's starting group, tallying five carries for 18 yards and a score.

Meanwhile, his primary competitor for carries, Chuba Hubbard, was sidelined by a hamstring injury. Brooks might be the more dynamic option even if both are healthy, though, and he could be a great value pick in the eighth or ninth round.

Stock down: Tony Pollard, RB, Tennessee Titans

Fantasy fans of Pollard will flock to his volume potential. He has neared (and sometimes surpassed) 300 touches each of the past three seasons, and Tennessee might have to lean on its ground game if quarterback Cam Ward can't take a big step forward.

But what happens if Pollard is trapped in a timeshare? Because it kind of seems like the Titans want to up their usage of Tyjae Spears, who has slotted alongside their starters more often than Pollard this preseason. If Pollard is left fighting for touches, then he just isn't worth the draft cost (RB30, per FantasPros).

Stock up: De'Zhaun Stribling, WR, San Francisco 49ers

Stribling's stock hasn't seen a spike so much as it has perpetually climbed until now. His buzz was building in training camp, and he has kept it moving up with two impressive showings in as many preseason contests, turning 13 targets into 11 receptions for 109 yards.

With Mike Evans struggling to stay on the field, and George Kittle still working his way back from a torn Achilles, Stribling could have a path toward a sizable role in this passing attack. It looks like it might take a top-100 pick to get him, but every sign so far suggests he'll be worth it.

Fantasy managers become their own branding departments when it's time to name the team. Consider us your branding consultants, then, as we'll sift through some options.

If you want something simple that you can carry forward into future campaigns, you can always build the name around your actual name. It isn't the most clever play, but there are no questions about who's in charge of Tommy's Touchdowns or The Zach Attack.

Or maybe you like tailoring it to a standout player on your roster, perhaps your first-round pick. If you're fortunate enough to land Bijan Robinson, then you could use Bijan Mustard, To Infinity and Bijan or Bijan Frisé. Or if you take Christian McCaffrey, Run CMC is always a classic.
