Jacob Young Reacts to 'Spider-Man' Wall Catch After Epic HR Robbery Highlight for Nationals

Washington Nationals center fielder Jacob Young made an incredible catch on Sunday, scaling the wall to deny the Miami Marlins' Heriberto Hernández a home run.

Young has been given the Spider-Man nickname in the past, and it sure seemed apt after that grab.

"It's a fun one," he told MLB.com's Perla Paredes regarding the nickname. "But you know, if [I] keep catching the ball, [the fans] can call me whatever they want."

As for scaling the wall to make the grab, Young called it "instinctual" and said that his mindset is to just "go try to catch everything."

"It just kind of ended up in the spot where I like to climb them," he added. "And I'm gonna give myself a chance. And when I looked up, the ball was there, so it was cool to be able to get [Jackson] a couple more innings and keep us in the game."

The Nationals ultimately lost 6-2 anyway, but at least Young provided one of the season's best highlights.
