The Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals got another look at their potential backup quarterbacks during Saturday night preseason action in Glendale.

Gardner Minshew (AZ)15/18130011

Milton recorded two passing touchdowns in the first quarter by finding Malik Davis before ending the next drive with a 53-yard touchdown pass to Jonathan Mingo.

On the Cowboys' third series of the game, Milton found Camden Brown for a 70-yard gain. He ended the drive by running in a third touchdown.

Minshew, who threw two touchdowns in his first preseason action for the Cardinals, was less efficient in his second outing.

The Cardinals' first drive in the game ended with a turnover after Minshew was picked off on an attempted deep pass.

Minshew led the Cardinals on a field goal drive in a series highlighted by a 37-yard pass to Simi Fehoko early in the second quarter.

The Cardinals had to settle for another field goal on the next drive after Minshew was sacked on a third down at the Cowboys' 13-yard line.

The Cowboys went into the halftime break with a 24-6 lead over the Cardinals.

Milton and Sam Howell are competing for the backup spot behind Dak Prescott, while Minshew is taking on rookie Carson Beck to serve as QB2 behind Jacoby Brissett.

These quarterbacks could get a final chance to audition for their respective roles when the preseason wraps up next week. The Cardinals are playing Friday at the Green Bay Packers, the same night the Cowboys play their own preseason finale against the visiting New Orleans Saints.
