Josh Naylor's Must-See Iced-Out 'Space Jam' Jordan 11 Cleats Go Viral in Trending MLB Video

Seattle Mariners first baseman Josh Naylor went above and beyond with his look to kickoff MLB Players' Weekend on Friday night.

During the Mariners' game against the Chicago Cubs, Naylor was wearing a pair of iced-out Space Jam Jordan 11 cleats.

Naylor has an affinity for the 1996 Michael Jordan film, including comparing the New York Yankees to the Monstars in 2023 when he was playing for the Cleveland Guardians.

The Space Jam cleats were one of several unique items showcased by players around MLB on Friday night. Naylor's teammate Julio Rodríguez used a custom Spider-Man bat, for example.

MLB adopted Players' Weekend in 2017 to allow players to show off more of their personality by relaxing usual requirements for on-field equipment and attire.

Naylor's cleats and Rodríguez's bat must have helped since the Mariners defeated the Cubs 6-5 on Leo Rivas' walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th.
