Official numbers from the Las Vegas Stadium Authority show WrestleMania 42 attendance was down roughly 15 percent from the previous year.

The Las Vegas Stadium Authority announced the two-day attendance for this year's WrestleMania was 97,126 with the split being 47,093 on Saturday and 50,033 on Sunday.

The attendance marks a drop of 21,515 from 2025, which was also the most financially successful pro wrestling show ever with a $66 million gate across the two nights.

WrestleMania 42 marks the first time since 2021, when attendance was still limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that WWE's marquee event did draw more than 100,000 fans for the two-night event.

Despite the drop in attendance, WWE and TKO have touted WrestleMania 42 as "one of the highest-grossing events in company history," including record or near-record figures across across gate, sponsorship, merchandise, WWE World, On Location VIP experiences and digital.

Last year's show was largely built around John Cena's heel turn and his chase to win a record-setting 17th world championship against Cody Rhodes. It was also Cena's first WrestleMania match since losing to Austin Theory in 2023.

WrestleMania 42 featured Rhodes defeating Randy Orton to retain the undisputed WWE title in the main event of night one and Roman Reigns beating CM Punk in the main event of night two to win the world heavyweight championship.

Next year's WrestleMania will be held in Saudi Arabia, marking the first time it has taken place outside of North America.
