As the NFL season inches closer, HBO's Hard Knocks has been giving fans an inside look into the Seattle Seahawks' training camp as they prepare to defend their Super Bowl victory.

This week's episode kicked off with an ode to the sounds of Seattle, from coffee to the bay to grunge music. Of course, the iconic Legion of Boom was mentioned as well.

Wide receiver Montorie Foster Jr., who is looking to establish himself on the Seahawks roster, got lots of love on this week's episode, including from quarterback Sam Darnold.

Foster has one of the more unique stories in the NFL, as he spent last year working as a substitute teacher and getting his real estate license while training for an opportunity in the league after an injury derailed his rookie year.

Jaxson Smith-Njigba also got some praise from his head coach, but he has more than established himself in the NFL.

Cornerback Devon Weatherspoon signed a four-year, $132 million extension that makes him the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history last week, and his teammates celebrated him accordingly.

The Seahawks played their first preseason game of the year against the Dallas Cowboys, but one player had to exit earlier than expected. After a strong first half, fullback Brady Russell left the game to take his wife to the hospital as she went into labor.

Seattle couldn't hang on for the win against Dallas, losing 17-7.
