Cage & Cope Beat Young Bucks in Dream Match to Retain AEW Tag Titles at All In 2026

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage beat The Young Bucks at All In on Sunday to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

After the match, Cage and Copeland were confronted by fellow legendary tag teams FTR, the Motor City Machine Guns and the New Level, the latter of whom debuted in AEW earlier in the event and won the Trios Championship alongside Swerve Strickland.

After about six months off AEW programming, Cope and Cage returned at Revolution in March, and they seemingly lent The Young Bucks a helping hand by running off FTR.

However, it proved to be a measure of revenge more than anything, as Copeland and Christian wanted to get back at FTR after an attack at their hands last September.

After getting some payback against FTR, Cope and Cage stared down The Young Bucks, which served to foreshadow their eventual showdown at All In.

Copeland and Cage defeated FTR in an "I Quit" street fight at Double or Nothing, marking their first reign as AEW world tag team champions together after previously holding tag team gold as a duo seven times in WWE.

At Redemption, both The Young Bucks and the team of Cope and Cage had huge matches that led to their title bout becoming official for All In.

The Young Bucks beat the team of Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay at the event, and Copeland and Christian later defeated Death Riders members Claudio Castagnoli and Pac to retain the tag team titles.

After Cope and Cage were victorious, The Young Bucks made their way to the ring to confront them, and the graphic for the AEW World Tag Team Championship match between them at All In was shown on the big screen, much to the delight of the live crowd.

At Wembley Stadium in London, two of the most accomplished and celebrated tag teams in pro wrestling history finally locked horns for the first time ever.

Cope and Christian came out on top, denying The Young Bucks what would have been a record-breaking fourth reign as AEW world tag team champions.
